Digital:
Pros-
· Fast, speedy, downloadable pictures.
· Ability to edit and duplicate into
multiple sizes and formats.
· Ability to take a vast amount of pictures
to capture everything you want.
· Easier sharing capability with
digital photos because they
· No worries about film usage and
running out of film.
Cons-
· Often digital cameras come with a lot
of features and are complex to use.
· Often use a lot of battery life and
can raise you in cost for replacing them.
· Digital cameras can cost a lot of
money as well when you get a good one it can start at around $700.
· Memory cards for the cameras can cost
a lot of money as well.
· When uploading, if you have a lot of
pictures it can be a long process.
Print:
Pros-
· Low initial price to start out.
· Captures greater details in black and
white.
· More forgiving in minor focusing
issues.
· Film is still a very high resolution
and takes quality pictures.
· More forgiving in exposure problems.
Cons-
· Cannot view images before they are
edited.
· Unless you have your own darkroom, you
must depend on a lab to develop your photos.
· Film is a continuing cost to supply
yourself with.
· Cameras for film are often heavier.
· Film can take up a lot of space and
you have to carry it around with you.
